Data Origin
Forecast model data is sourced from NOAA's Open Data Dissemination Program AWS S3 buckets. Data is processed client-side using zgrib2, a web-friendly GRIB2 decoder built in Rust/WASM.
How to Use
- Model — select the forecast model (e.g. GFS).
- Run — choose the model initialization time.
- Product — pick the data product/grid.
- Variable & Level — select the meteorological field and vertical level.
- Colormap — adjust the color scale applied to the data.
- Press Load to fetch and render the field on the map.
