Hello World!
My name is Mike Zuranski, and I am a professional problem solver that lives at the intersection of meteorology and computer science. I have a passion for working with geoscience data, and to help others find & use that data for their own missions. For over fifteen years I have served the Academic Meteorological Community in numerous roles, and now I’m here to serve you.
I started Zuranski Weather to assist users in meeting their meteorological data needs, primarily within the academic communities. I will use this space to talk about news in our corner of the industry, share data sources and to showcase new visualization techniques, manipulations and processes to make our lives easier. Stay tuned for more content and information coming soon!
This is an exciting time as an abundance of changes are coming our way, but we all know change beings uncertainty and challenge. I don’t know about you, but that’s the part I find fun. Let’s greet these new times together, I look forward to working with you and to help you accomplish your goals!
